Saturday Evening. Still enjoying quilting. I have water aerobics tonight and the water will feel great. Wish I could swim, but maybe I will learn eventually. Enjoyed a trip to Parker this morning - Wal-Mart run. We ate breakfast at Coffee Ern's. Great food. Looking forward to Sunday tomorrow, but also sorry that we will be missing the Knox Brothers Concert in McMinnville, OR.

  1. Hello, Angie! WOW! I think water aerobics in such a heatwave as you have where you are, would be wonderful.

    Dad is doing much much better--but he still has a long way to go. I would appreciate your prayers as we prepare his home for his return.

    Your sis, Beth :o}

  2. Great news about your Dad. We will pray that he will continue to improve steadily from now on.

    The water in the pool yesterday must have been around 90 degrees. It felt amazing. Sharon & I stayed in the pool after exercising and just sort of moved around in the water, and visited. It was dark by then, and the sky was alive with stars, planes, satellites, etc. It was amazing.

  3. Oh, I envy you your beautiful skies. Here the lights of the cities are too bright. You can't even see the milky way anymore.

    I remember sleeping out in the front yard in Wilsonville as a kid, and marveling over all the planets, the milky way, shooting stars and such.

  4. By the way, Dad is doing better. Though today I've been worried--he seems very sleepy, and a little confused. Scary days.

    But the wound specialist had some good news, she seems to think the wound on Dad's head will grow together by itself without surgery. Phew!
